Mike Matei Xadara

Starting with a couple of humorous rants against a pair of Nintendo games, the Angry Video Game Nerd and his home website, Cinemassacre, has become an internet phenomenon. Hopefully, you enjoyed getting to hear a bit about one of the all-time greats of gaming videos. The full AVGN theme song was used for the first time in this episode. Mike was gracious enough to take the time to talk to Nintendo Enthusiast and we picked his brain on his history, his love for Nintendo, and what he has coming up. We proudly present to you an exclusive interview with the one, the only, Mike Matei.

The one thing I really like about your videos Mike, are the tips and hints you give. Yet the one I enjoyed the most revolved around James Rolfe and Mike Matei of Cinemassacre as they celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Cinemassacre. And I've play a lot of crap games.

I prefer NC's videos more, but I still have to give Mike Matei props for at least taking the time to make videos. The AVGN reviews Top Gun for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Development of the film began in late 2006, following the popularity of the Angry Video Game Nerd web series, with the completion of the screenplay by 2008.

In many cases, the Nerd would dress up as other popular characters while reviewing their games, such as Batman. I imagined most hard games back int he 90s was just because of hardware limitations and novice coding, and people just somehow ended up loving them.

While we continue to follow our initial goal, we also try to bring the latest news on gadgets, mobile games, movies and TV shows. Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures features plenty of exciting memorable off-the-wall moments that'll surely stimulate your nerdy side.

MT: Thank you very much from Retrospekt for taking the time out for this interview Mike and we all look forward to where both you and James take the site in the future. I love all these games series. The Angry Video Game Nerd along with the Nostalgia Critic, made a background cameo appearance in the anime Zettai Karen Children: The Unlimited.

We since then, there has been a serious split, about people who can't stand it and people who understand that James is ing busy doing his movie, so he offered Mike to take over the channel. The show revolves around the Nerd's commentary of old and typically commercially unsuccessful video games which he deems to be of particularly low-quality, unfair difficulty or poor design.

Given Mike's close ties with James Rolfe, this opens the door for AVGN Game Gear episodes. I am looking into it. Don't worry,” Matei wrote in the comment section of the Dark Souls review video. After that video was released, Nintendo decided to finally put out the official” Zelda timeline.

Cinemassacre, home of the Angry Mike Matei Video Game Nerd, is typically a Nintendo leaning site. I feel like a sequel to the SNES game should have been done several times over by now. I loved the Oracle games and Minish Cap. Currently Matei spends most of his time editing James & Mike Mondays and other Cinemassacre videos.

I know there are many more Spider-man related games that were not covered here, such as maximum carnage, the Spider-man arcade game and so on. The point of this video was to look at the 3D environment spider-man games, since the next game coming in 2018 will be in that style.
